See Your Hogwarts House Colors Light Up At The New Light Show At The Wizarding World of Harry Potter!
Remember at the end of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone when Dumbledore gave the House Cup to Gryffindor? After awarding a total of 170 points to Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville, the Great Hall’s interior changed from Slytherin’s silver and green decor to a triumphant red and gold. Well now, Universal Orlando is bringing that scene to their new Nighttime Light Show at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

After the success of and Harry Potter and the Magic of Christmas and its first ever light show that projected on the Hogwart’s Castle, Universal Orlando Resort announced that they will be continuing the light show, but with a new twist!
Their new projection mapping experience will display all of the Hogwarts house colors on the castle in a brilliant array of lights and special effects in red, green, yellow, and blue. So whether you’re a Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin, you can experience the joy of winning the House Cup by seeing your house colors light up the castle!
The night time light show is set to debut on Wednesday, January 31st. However, you get a special preview on January 27th and 28th if you are one of the lucky ones to attend Universal Orlando’s annual Celebration of Harry Potter. The official experience is scheduled to run on February 5th and 7-12 with future dates to be determined. This special light show can be seen from the Hogwarts grounds at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure or at Universal Studio’s Hollywood. Universal also announced that if you are a pass holder, you can be one of the first to see this new light show on January 26th!
